Training of Trainers (TOT)
Course Description:
This Training of Trainers (TOT) course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to become effective trainers. Over the course of 24 hours, participants will learn adult learning principles, training design, delivery techniques, and assessment methods. The course emphasizes practical skills in facilitating learning, engaging learners, and adapting training programs to meet diverse needs. By the end of the course, participants will be able to confidently plan, deliver, and evaluate effective training sessions.
Objective:
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the characteristics and needs of adult learners and apply adult learning principles in training.
- Conduct effective training needs assessments to identify learning gaps and design appropriate training interventions.
- Develop clear, measurable training objectives and design comprehensive training programs that align with learners’ needs.
- Deliver engaging, interactive training sessions using various instructional techniques and tools.
- Apply facilitation skills to manage group dynamics, encourage participation, and maintain learner engagement.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using assessment tools and feedback mechanisms, and make improvements where necessary.
